The role of ICT in the training of dentistry students

In the Academic Unit of Dentistry the career of dental surgeon is imparted; the students of this career do not have ICT competences, since their curriculum does not include any subject related to this area. Information and Communication Technologies have been positioned as a need, for this reason, it is of great interest to know the contributions of ICT in this area of health. This study will resort to a quasi-experimental quantitative cut and the type of sampling is intentional probabilistic. The evidence indicates that students do not have comprehensive training and do not feel competitive enough with other universities because of the lack of ICT management.
