Abstract

The importance of Educational Robotics has been increasing given the massive access to robots and associated technologies, using them for designing workshops, models, methodologies, being the means to develop communication skills, collaboration and those related to literacy scientific. However, with the emergence of the concept of Industry 4.0 it is required that the student be able to design and build integrating the concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Physical-Cybernetic Systems, decreasing the level of abstraction with respect to Educational Robotics and the Educational Mechatronic discipline appears. This article presents the development of a practice manual with a constructivist approach, which enables the transition of the student from Educational Robotics to Educational Mechatronics, using a specific case using the STEM Educational Robotics kit, Lego Mindstorms EV3 and a Programmable Logic Controller for industrial use Koyo brand.
